West Charlotte High School Remembers Coach Mo Collins

Via The Charlotte Observer

Additional guidance counselors are on hand this week at West Charlotte High School as students mourn the loss of head football coach, Mo Collins. The NFL veteran died Sunday morning. Collins did not coach Friday’s game against Hough High School due to his dialysis treatments for kidney failure. He was 38 years old.

Collins is remembered for recharging the school’s football program while helping to keep teens in school and off the streets.
