Sources: CMS Superintendent Dr. Heath Morrison Set to Resign

According to sources, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools superintendent, Dr. Heath Morrison could resign from the district at any moment.

Morrison came to CMS in July of 2012 from Reno, Nevada as Dr. Peter Gorman’s replacement. The district houses more than 144,000 students from kindergarten to 12th grade. According to a report last month, CMS graduation numbers saw a 4% increase in the last year.

The district Morrison and the district have not responded to the reports.
